Please wait... Great North Run 2010Sunday 19 SeptemberThe Bupa Great North Run is the world's biggest half marathon and the biggest mass participation event in Britain. Each year tens of thousands of people tackle the famous 13.1 miles from Newcastle to the coast at South Shields. We are looking for 20 people from the shift.ms community to join this year’s team. We want you, our users, out there on the course, showing others it can be done! The Great North Run is suitable for accompanied wheelchair users and shift.ms will welcome double entrants. To help cover our costs, this year we will be asking each participant for a £45 entry fee and for you to raise a suggested sponsorship of £300.
In return, Shift.ms will give you: · a free breathable T-shirt · a fundraising pack and sponsor forms · post-race picnic, where you can meet your friends and family, get your breath back and get some refreshments!
